Backyard Critters Bird Feeders

Came across this really easy, fun and quick craft idea to do with the kiddos this summer. We will be doing this craft this weekend. The full instructions are available on Lowes.com but we are doing some adjustments.  :)

We will be using coffee cans with plastic lids instead of  stinky messy old paint cans.  We will also be using stockings for the wings instead of wire mesh (I AM doing this project with kiddos after all!).  The wings may end up being painted cardboard as well ;)

I am not very convinced any birds will pick our project for his new home but they will look cute in the backyard.  The girls will enjoy the craft as well.
