Coupon Lesson ~ Losing Your Binder

Here’s a Lesson, that you can learn from me.   I lost my coupon binder for two weeks!!! GASP!  Well I truly only knew it was missing for 4 days, but so here’s my story…..

I shopped with it, and I was positive I left it in my Jeep, as I usually do, So Never gave it much thought. Then I did a road trip and had my daughter clean out my vehicle so we can squeeze the total amount of passengers and luggage for a weekend.

I then in amongst my chaos of my sister-in-law passing away, and trying to attempt  to get ready for a week of company and other things, I thought I better get my coupon package together to send out for the Prize of Chat with Cheetah contest we had a few ago.

I could Not find my binder. I looked every where  - every drawer, behind furniture, checked out every car we have  inside and out. So Now I’m upset! There’s a lot of coupons in that binder!  I thought for sure my daughter accidentally thrown in the garbage or someone stole it out of my car ( perhaps I didn’t lock it one night)  Lots of scenarios were rummaging through my head.  But I was Absolutely Positive that I didn’t leave it at any store!

So I was at Shoppers Drug Mart  last week. ( After not being in there for almost 10 days to 2 weeks ) and talking to my favorite Beauty Cosmetic Manager and she was teasing me that it wasn’t Saturday when I was in there, and I mentioned to her I lost my binder.  She then told me they found a black zippered one! And she called someone up to the front to go get it out of their Lost and Found!!!

Thank Goodness.!

But Really I have No way of letting someone contact me If it was found!  So this weekend I’m going to Create a stiff board  Name and Address as the first page of my binder! So if I happen to lose it ever again, It may stand a chance of finding its way home again.  I’m so lucky that the manager knew there was a binder found, as some of the other staff didn’t know at all.  So even if I called, there stood a chance of someone saying “Not that I’m aware of ” speech.
