OUT OF PROVINCE GRAND PRIZE
There are three (3) Out of Province Grand Prizes available to be won, which will be awarded regionally, with the regions defined based on entrant’s home address as follows:
• Western Region (British Columbia);
• Prairies Region (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Yukon and Northwest Territories); and
• Eastern Region (Quebec, Nunavut, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador).
Please note that Ontario residents are not eligible for an Out of Province Grand Prize.
Each Out of Province Grand Prize consists of
• round trip economy airfare for the Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest departing from the Canadian international airport nearest the Grand Prize winner’s residence to Toronto, Ontario (departure and destination airports, carrier and airline ticket class to be chosen by the Contest Sponsor in its sole discretion);
• one (1) night hotel accommodation (based on double occupancy) at a hotel to be determined by Contest Sponsor; and
• two (2) tickets to the Edge® Maxim Ultimate Frat Party.
The approximate retail value of each Out of Province Grand Prize is $2,500, based upon a Vancouver, British Columbia departure. Actual value will vary depending on the departure city. Neither the winner nor his /her guest will be entitled to the monetary difference between the actual Out of Province Grand Prize value and the stated approximate value, if any.
Winners and travel companions are responsible for all other expenses not expressly included in the prize description including (but not limited to) meals, gratuities, other transportation (including transportation to and from the airports), other entertainment, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, taxes, travel and cancellation insurance, travel visas and all personal expenses of any kind. Winners and travel companions must have all necessary identification and documents to permit travel. It is recommended that each winner and his/her travel companion obtain sufficient personal insurance prior to departure. Trip must be taken based on the day of the Edge® Maxim Ultimate Frat Party (exact date of the party to be determined at a later date) and will not be rescheduled or substituted once booked. If a winner (and/or his/her traveling companion) is unable to travel on the date and time determined, the Out of Province Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner selected and no compensation or alternative prize will be offered or provided. No responsibility is assumed by the Contest Sponsor for cancelled, delayed, suspended or re-scheduled travel for any reason. Transportation and accommodations are subject to availability. Winners and travel companions, who must also be the age of majority in their province or territory of residence, will be required to travel together, on the same itinerary. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred, or exchanged and have no cash surrender value. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or any portion of a prize for a substitute prize of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, or for whatever reason.
3b. ONTARIO GRAND PRIZE
There are thirty-seven (37) Ontario Grand Prizes, available for Ontario residents only (based on entrant’s home address). Each Ontario Grand Prize consists of two (2) entry tickets to the Edge® Maxim Ultimate Frat Party. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and may not be transferred or exchanged and have no cash surrender value. Each guest must be the age of majority in the province or territory in which he/she resides. Winner and guests are responsible for all other expenses not expressly included in the Ontario Grand Prize description including (but not limited to) drinks, gratuities, transportation and all personal expenses of any kind. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize or any portion of a prize for a substitute prize of at least equal value in the event of unavailability, or for whatever reason.
4. OUT OF PROVINCE AND ONTARIO GRAND PRIZE DRAWS
A Random Draw for the Out of Province and Ontario Grand Prizes will be conducted at or about 2:00 pm ET on January 15, 2009 in Brantford, ON by the Independent Contest Judging Organization, from all eligible entries received. Odds of being selected depend upon the total number of eligible entries received or post-marked from your region. The selected entrants will be contacted by email, mail, courier or telephone within five (5) business days of the draw date. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within five (5) business days, he/she will be disqualified and a new random draw from the remaining eligible entries will be conducted to select another entry and the process noted above will be repeated until a selected entrant is contacted or there are no more eligible entries, whichever comes first.
