Default Matching Ad's & Price Adjustment

MATCHING AD'SActually I match ad's ALL THE TIME.. Walmart, Zellers, Home Depot, Rona (I think) and Cdn Tire does Match Ad's. I wonder who else?

I was in Walmart yesterday & they match 2 Zeller's Ad's... 1 for 24 case of water for $2.47 (wamlart price was 3.47) and Shaving cream for $1.97 (walmart price was around 3.00). PLUS I had coupons for the saving cream... 1 $2.00 and 1 $1.00 so I got 2 bottles of shaving cream for $.95. SWEET!!!

It's great that companies match ad's, since it saves you on the car gas and YOUR time to go to different places. Since I have a baby I don't have time to end to a TON of differnet places just to get a deal. But really who has the time anyway.. baby or not.

PRICE ADJUSTMENT
Ya, alway watch out for items that are marked down once you purchase an item. I think a company can do a price adjustment within 14 day of purchase date. I've done this soooo many times... you just have to make sure you keep your receipt!

QUOTE=beigewood;115363]OMG double coupons would be AWESOME! I have only ever heard of it being done in the states. I am hoping that someone on here will post about it though.

I was telling the story recently of the time I went to return a damaged pair of shoes at Payless. They had gone on sale since I purchased them and even though i was only trying to exchange them for the same exact pair they actually exchanged the shoes and gave me cash back! I was like "What? You're trying to give me cash back?" The clerk explained that if an item goes on advertised sale within a certain time of you purchasing it at full price, they will refund the difference!

So, when I told my MIL this story she said that a lot of stores do this but it is unadvertised. Apparently Canadian Tire does this. I have never followed up but if anyone gets the chance please give it a go and let us know! MIL says you just have to have the original receipt and in the case of canadian tire she thought you had 7 days.

Also, sorry for the long post but I saw at wal-mart the other day that they will price match any advertised price for identical items. Has anyone ever taken advantage of this? Sounds great![/quote]
