I have tried the SmartSwipe and can say with confidence that it works as advertised. For my last internet purchase I went to purchase some sheet music off the web. When I got to the checkout page, it was in a format that I had never seen and I was sure that it would not work with the card swipe.

I was pleasently surprised that the software detected the checkout page and had no problem filling out all the fields for the credit card.

Also, SmartSwipe gives me an added sense of confidence when purchasing from sites where I am leary of giving them my credit card. I trust that the software verifies the sites security certificate and makes sure that the transaction site is legit.

I think they got it right and this will soon be the de-facto standard for purchasing over the internet.
