My favorite household hint that works and also saves you a bundle is to use tennis balls in the dryer. I have a large dryer so I use 2 but when you can get 3 for $1 and they last (until the dog sees them) for a long time,( my last purchase was app. 1 year ago.) Great if you have allergy sufferers in the home. Most laundry soap smells pretty good any so I never use fabric softner sheets.
