Default hand sanitizer hazard to your child

So i recieved this email from my cousin who happens to be an elementary teacher telling a story of a young girl who was at school and acting funny kinda out of it , later during the day she was found in the bathroom at school sweating and almost passed out the school called her parents to come get her and upon recieving the child from school took her to the nearby emergency room. The doctors couldn't pin point what was happening and began to take many blood tests .. low and behold her blood work came back with a blood alchohol level that would have an adult out of it. The parents knew she couldnt of actually drank anything on purpose and went back to the school to check things out. Luckly a teacher thought about the hand sanitizer they use and hand out to students through out the day the parents took it back to the hospital and it was confirmed that that was it the child unknowingly had a habit of putting her hands in her mouth and it was enough to have that reaction with her. i know my daycare uses that with the children there and have now requested my kids dont use it. It's just a easy to have a child go to the washroom and use soap and water and teaches them better hygene anyways i hope this helps some of you . i heard about hand sanitizer not killing super bugs or making some but never thought of the alcohol content and although not enough to harm an adult but obviously enough to harm a child.
