I have a 50 gal. fish tank given to me by my son-in-law. He went up to a 100 gal. In 2 years I have cleaned it only once. I have had such good luck with it. I have a pleco, molly, zebras and tuxedo tetras. They are causing a population explosion in my tank. Late this summer I noticed what I thought was food flecks or something floating around. The flecks turned out to be babies- 13 to be exact. Now, just the other day I noticed another 3 tiny babies swimming around. If this keeps up, it will be a long time before I have to buy any new fish. Also about three months ago I had a red coloured beta in a vase with a plant. I decided to put him in the tank with the other fish. He is doing extremely well. This you can do as long as you don't put betas together, they will fight to death. He is a very social fish with other species though. My tank was the best addition in my house, I love it!!
