Contest entrants must be Canadian residents of the Regions described below.

To enter for a chance to win one of four grand prizes (each a “Grand Prize” as described below), you may simply fill out an official entry ballot in its entirety (no photocopies or mechanical reproductions shall be allowed) found in participating Penningtons stores (“Penningtons Stores”) and deposit the ballot in the ballot box located in the Penningtons Store. Alternatively, simply go online at www.penningtons.com (the “Website”) and follow the instructions to file an on-line ballot. All entries become the property of Penningtons.

Entries shall be pooled according to receipt from various Canadian regions, specifically the Western, Central, Eastern and Atlantic regions (“Regions”). The Western Region shall comprise the provinces of British Columbia and Alberta. The Central Region shall comprise the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. The Eastern Region shall comprise the provinces of Ontario and Quebec. The Atlantic Region shall comprise the provinces of Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.

Four (4) Grand Prizes will be awarded in total, one for each Region. Each Grand Prize shall consist of a one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) shopping spree at any participating Penningtons Store and a free wardrobe consultation to be provided by Penningtons trained sales associates. The wardrobe consultation consists of expert tips given by our trained sales associates on how to build a versatile, timeless wardrobe. The total retail value of each Grand Prize is one thousand dollars ($1,000.00).

Grand prizes must be claimed within one (1) month of the award of the grand prize towards the actual inventory of any participating Penningtons stores. No product substitution or grand prize equivalent shall be permitted. The grand prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other competition or offer. PS Club Advantage membership discounts and point accumulation cannot be applied towards the redemption of any grand prize. The grand prize must be accepted as is, and cannot be redeemed for cash or gift certificates. The grand prize cannot be returned after pick-up. Choices of colours and sizes are subject to availability in that specific Penningtons store. No rain checks shall be provided.

This Contest offer shall be valid between September 5, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Eastern time and September 25, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. Eastern time (the “Entry Deadline”). All Grand Prize entries must be received by Penningtons by the Entry Deadline.

For purposes of the Grand Prize, a random draw will be held at the head offices of Penningtons in Montreal, Quebec on October 16, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time, in order to select the four (4) Grand Prize winners, one from each Region, among all of the eligible entries received by the Entry Deadline.

Limit of one Grand Prize entry per person (i.e. per name of entrant) per Region. All additional entries will be disqualified. Odds of winning a Grand Prize will vary depending on the number of eligible Contest entrants received from each Region.

If a Grand Prize cannot be awarded due to actions or circumstances beyond the control of Penningtons, a substitute prize of equal or greater retail value may be awarded. A Grand Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or combined with any other offer.

The Contest is open to all residents of Canada residing in any Region who have reached the age of majority, except employees of Reitmans (Canada) Limited (owner of the “Penningtons” division), its directors and officers and those of its affiliated and associated companies, agents, advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective immediate families living in the same household.

Each Grand Prize winner must comply with these rules and correctly answer a time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by a representative of Penningtons during a pre-arranged, mutually convenient telephone call. Each Grand Prize must be claimed within one (1) month of the drawing. Only Grand Prize winners will be contacted within seven (7) business days at the telephone number and/or the e-mail address provided in the entry. If a selected entrant cannot be reached within seven (7) business days at the telephone number and/or at the e-mail address provided, an alternate Grand Prize winner (or winners) will be selected, by random drawing, conducted by Penningtons. The name of the Grand Prize winners will appear on the Website for no less than thirty (30) days following selection.
