Welcome to the world of weddings...i plan weddings and this is a common thing (considered a wedding night catalog..you don't want to hear the things I have heard..) anyway just wanted to warn you about freebies for weddings usually at Bridal shows ..all the draws etc and the main bride list will be given to the businesses at the show. YOU WILL RECEIVE MANY calls after going to this events..You may even be told you have won something (crystal glasses for example ) to get your free gift you have to attend a meeting usually at your local hotel.This meeting is a high pressure sales event similar to timeshare vacations..If you want to get rid of them tell them you are a stay at home mom...and your future hubby is not available. If you go you will get the said free item but,it will cost most of your night. For good freebies register a gift list many places give something like a free cake knife or a discount on items on your list not purchased for you. congrats! |
