Golden Glazed Chicken I didn't think I liked curry until I had this dish! It's so good!
2-3 Chicken Breasts
2 Onions
2/3 cups honey (liquefy in microwave)
1/2 cup mustard
4 tsp lemon juice
2 tsp oil
2 tsp curry
salt & pepper
-Combine honey, mustard, lemon juice, oil and curry.
-Pour over chicken and marinate several hours. (this step is optional)
-Slice and spread the onions over bottom of a baking dish, place chicken on top, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour remaining glaze over top.
-Bake uncovered and baste several times.
Bake: 375*c 50-60 minutes
TIPS:
: Use a baking dish that isn't to big, otherwise the glaze spreads out too thin and cooks to the dish.
: If you like to have enough sauce to pour over your rice you will want to double the receipe.
: For a doubled receipe 500ml of liquid honey is equal to 2/3 cup twice. |
