No you send an email to a friend who is interested in Tupperware products (she emails them to make sure) and then if they say yes she sends you a gift for referring them! I sent an email to my gf and said what I did above and she emailed my friend and introduced herself and then sent me a Mini Rock N Serve container as thanks.
