Cos originally, someone started a thread with a cat pic with a caption on a saturday...it soon evolved into hundreds of pictures, as 4chan has a MASSIVE userbase. (We just passed 63,000,000 posts on the /b/ board) Anyway, every saturday is now Caturday and we post zillions of cat pics, and they got spread all over the place. |
