The contest runs from May 1, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. ET to September 30, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”). The contest is sponsored by McNeil Consumer Healthcare, division of Johnson & Johnson Inc. (the “Sponsor”), the makers of SPLENDA® Brand products.
1. To Enter: No Purchase Necessary. Void where prohibited. Limit of one (1) entry per person during the Contest Period whether on-line or by mail which are the two (2) ways to enter this contest.

www.splenda.ca/trip (the “Contest Website”) during the Contest Period, complete the on-line entry form and submit as instructed. All fields on the entry form must be completed unless they are indicated as optional.
Limit one (1) on-line entry per person Any attempt or suspected attempt to enter more than once per person, any use of robotic, automatic, programmed or entry methods not authorized by these rules, shall be deemed as tampering and will void all of your entries. Entrants will have the option to use the “Tell-a-Friend” form to receive one (1) bonus entry into the Sweepstakes when completing the registration form.
Enter by mail:
Legibly print your name (first name, last name), province and daytime telephone number (including area code), the contest name, “SPLENDA® SWEET TASTE OF SUCCESS CONTEST” and include a fifty (50) word or more hand written original essay on which trip package (described below) appeals to you the most. Mail your entry with sufficient postage to “SPLENDA® SWEET TASTE OF SUCCESS CONTEST” P.O. Box 5849, Station “A”, Toronto, Ontario, M5W 1P3. Your mail-in entry must be post-marked on or before 11:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2008 and received by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 14, 2008 otherwise the entry will be void. Upon receipt of your valid entry, you will be automatically entered in the contest. To request these full rules by mail, you may send a self-addressed stamped envelope to “SPLENDA® SWEET TASTE OF SUCCESS CONTEST, Rule Request” P.O. Box 5849, Station “A”, Toronto, Ontario, M5W 1P3.
2. Eligibility:
To enter and to be eligible to win, an entrant must be a resident of Canada, have reached the age of majority in his/her province or territory of residence at the time of entry and be legally able to travel to Europe and Australia. Employees of, or those residing with an employee of, Sponsor, their agents, representatives, parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and dealers, advertising and promotional agencies, sponsors, suppliers of prizes, materials or services related to this contest, including the independent judging organization are not eligible to enter this contest.
3. Grand Prize:
There is one (1) Grand Prize trip package available to be won by the contest winner (the “Grand Prize Winner”) consisting of the Grand Prize Winner’s choice between one of the following trip packages offered by the travel agency Horizon & Co.,: one (1) Barcelona, Spain trip package, one (1) Athens, Greece trip package and one (1) Sydney, Australia trip package. The potential Grand Prize winner shall select one (1) trip package from the following three (3) options:
Barcelona, Spain Trip Package:
Nine (9) days/eight (8) nights accommodation (standard double room occupancy), round trip economy airfare for two (2) from a major Canadian airport to Barcelona, Spain, round trip airport transfers for two (2) from Barcelona airport to the hotel, hotel porter service, daily breakfasts for two (2) people and $4,000 CDN spending money. All taxes are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included. Trip must be taken between November 2008 - May 2009 and planned travel dates are subject to availability. Approximate retail value of $15,000 CDN. No cash value option will be offered.
OR Athens, Greece Trip Package:
Nine (9) days/eight (8) nights accommodation (standard double room occupancy), round trip economy airfare for two (2) from a major Canadian airport to Athens, Greece, round trip airport transfers for two (2) from Athens airport to the hotel, hotel porter service, daily breakfasts for two (2) people, and $5,000 CDN spending money. All taxes are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included. Trip must be taken between October 2008 - May 2009 and planned travel dates are subject to availability. Approximate retail value of $15,000 CDN. No cash value option will be offered.
OR Sydney, Australia Trip Package:
Nine (9) days/eight (8) nights accommodation (standard double room occupancy), round trip economy airfare for two (2) from a major Canadian airport to Sydney, Australia, including round trip airport transfers for two (2) from Sydney airport to the hotel, hotel porter service, daily breakfasts for two (2) people and $1,000 CDN spending money. All taxes are included. Alcoholic beverages are not included. Trip must be taken between November 2008 - May 2009 and planned travel dates are subject to availability. Approximate retail value of $15,000 CDN. No cash value option will be offered.
Trip awarded must be taken during the time period(s) specified by Horizon & Co. and is subject to change. All incremental costs in using or claiming a Grand Prize not outlined in this prize description are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her Travel Companion including but not limited to: travel visa fees, connecting flights apart from the roundtrip airfare, additional ground transportation, fuel, gasoline and currency surcharges, passports, insurance, meals, beverages, gratuities, entertainment, excursions, transfers, merchandise, souvenirs, local and long distance telephone calls, medical, travel and cancellation insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature. Winner and his/her Travel Companion are also solely responsible for all costs incurred to and from the departure point as the Grand Prize originates and terminates there. It is recommended that the Grand Prize winner and his/her Travel Companion obtain sufficient personal insurance prior to departure. Grand Prize must be accepted as described in these rules and cannot be transferred to another person, substituted for another prize, or exchanged in whole or in part, for cash, subject to the provisions set forth elsewhere in these rules. Travel arrangements must be made through Horizon & Co. and Grand Prize winner and his/her Travel Companion will be required to travel on the same itinerary. Winner is responsible for all taxes and expenses which are not included in the prize description above. The Sponsor reserves the right, in the event that a Grand Prize or any component of the Grand Prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason, to substitute another Prize of equal or greater value, without liability.
In the event of a dispute, entries received on-line shall be deemed to be submitted by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. “Authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Illegible entries, bulk drop-offs, mechanical reproductions or facsimile entries are ineligible.
