Contest Rules and Regulations
1. HOW TO ENTER
No purchase necessary to enter. Complete and submit the online form. Online form is located at
http://www.telus.com/mom. Only one online entry per person will be accepted for the duration of the contest. TELUS does not accept entries for this contest by phone, fax, courier, mail or email. This contest is intended for residents of Alberta and British Columbia only and will be interpreted according to Canadian law. Contest runs from May 9, 2008 to May 19, 2008.
2. THE PRIZE
The awarded prize will consist of:
One (1) of five (5) TELUS home bundle for one (1) year (where available).
Final eligibility of the services available in the TELUS home bundle will be determined at the point of installation. If you’re home is not eligible for one of the below services, you will not receive a credit for the particular service.
The winner will receive the following:
TELUS home phone: Depending on the bundle selected by the winner, a credit of up to $24.95 will be applied to the winner’s invoice statement each month for a period of one year. Winner is responsible for all long distance charges, calling features and applicable taxes incurred each month.
TELUS Long Distance - Call International Plus: Depending on the bundle selected by the winner, a credit of up to $24.95 will be applied to the winner’s invoice statement each month for a period of one year. TELUS Long Distance plan rates applies to direct-dialled long distance calls only and does not include calls placed to areas served by NorthwesTel. TELUS reserves the right to terminate enrolment in this plan. Overseas calls terminating on a wireless phone or audio text facilities may be subject to higher rates.
High Speed Enhanced Internet: Depending on the bundle selected by the winner, a credit in the amount of $35.95 will be applied to the winner’s invoice statement each month for a period of one year. Winner is responsible for the payment of all overage charges and applicable taxes incurred each month.
TELUS TV: One year of TELUS TV (where available) refers to The Essentials. The amount of $22.00 will show as a credit each month on the winner’s invoice statement for a period of one year – all other costs incurred, including Video on Demand, Pay Per View and applicable taxes are the responsibility of the winner.
TELUS reserves the right to modify the channel line-up, prices and packages without notice.
Total value of each prize is valued at up to $1294.20.
If the winner terminates their services before the end of the one year period any credits for the remaining months will be cancelled.
Prize(s) must be accepted as awarded, are not transferable and cannot be exchanged with TELUS for cash. No telephone contact or correspondence will be entered into except with the winning entrant(s). TELUS reserves the right to substitute the prize or any portion of the prize which is, in their sole opinion, a prize of equivalent value and/or to terminate or withdraw this contest at any time. Winner(s) are not entitled to monetary difference between actual prize value and stated approximate value. The chances of winning are dependent upon the total number of eligible entries received.
3. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible, entries must be received on or before the contest closing date of
May 19, 2008 11:59 pm PST. This contest is open to all residents of Alberta and British Columbia who have reached the age of majority according to the laws of the respective Provinces, excluding employees of TELUS Corporation, its affiliated companies or subsidiaries (collectively “TELUS”), its advertising and promotional agencies and members of their respective immediate families and any person domiciled with any of the above.
4. THE DRAW
