Camping trip picture july 24-27/08

Well, this past weekend I went camping with my bf and his dad, his dad's gf, and 2 of my bf's aunts and thier husbands. We went to the Sutton Bay Countryfest it was fun, they had a garth brooks impersonator who was ok, I'll post a vid I took later.
It rained from Friday to Sunday, so we spent alot of time in the trailer but on Saturday, the rain let up enough for my bf and I to go to Cobalt to explore the old mines, Cobalt used to be a silver rush town in the early 20th century but now is pretty dead. I like to explore the old ruins

The Glory Hole, really deep and fenced off with barbed wire

View from the lookout in the peak of the storm, I had to climb a metal staircase and was standing on a metal platform while the lighting was all around me, it was really scary
