Making up a business?

Hi everyone,
I'm new to this but yesterday as I was filling out applications for awesome freebies, I noticed some were intended for businesses only and asked for a business name. So I'm wondering, when faced with this situation do you folks make up a business name or just skip the freebie? Thanks for your input.

I just make up a business name.. depending on the type of freebie.. ex. if they tend to cater to offices or auto shops.. I try to think of a good name for that type of business

I made up a name using my initials. EMF Inc.

But yes just make one up, haven't had a problem with it yet.

Hi my business name is my nicname and it has been everything from childcare, hairshop, spa, industrial.......and on and on.

Mine's been my initials NCS Inc. It's very generic so that way I an be any business, I tend not to go for many business freebies unless they are really cool

I haven't bothered making up a business name but maybe now I'll use my initials.

i dont make up one , i just put in n/a or leave it blank,if i get it i get it if not o well

I don't really make up a business name although I do use the name of the business that my hubby and I would like to start someday (as we already know what name we want to use). That way, when the samples come, if they have my "business name" on them, I will be able to put them to use.
