Exclamation Product Recalls and General Warnings

pwwbear suggested we have a thread for product recalls ect. I think its a great idea so here it is.

So I guess I will start first with the mattel toys recall..these toddler toys contain lead in the paint which is toxic..take a look.....

Thanks for the good post. I don't have any of these toys,my kids are teenagers-but anyone with small ones-PLEASE CHECK THIS OUT- alot of Dora the explorer,and Sesame street toys.I didn't realize how many where recalled. Protect you kids and check this out.

It was brought to my attention that you can get money back for the listed items.
China doesn't have strict laws as we do, that includes food and drugs (such as diet pills).
I guess this is a good example of why we should support local business', not to mention the impact that it would give our economy.

omg that really sucks my daughter is so upset that she has to throw out her pollypockets and i won't be able to get money back b/c some acesseries have been thrown out...she just got them for her b-day in may..poor girl she's crying

my daughter got a dora the explorer multy game set checkers chess and card games and it has swiper and dora chess peices ...has anyone seen that on the recall list? If so please pm me

I have a warning you should consider. There are phthalates in products like nail polish, mascara and lotions that causes organ damage, fetal harm in pregnant women and other terrible things. There is a list of products free of this chemical at www.nottoopretty.org
