RECALL: Cadbury Eggs

HONG KONG - A Cadbury spokesman says preliminary results show its Chinese-made chocolates contain the industrial chemical melamine.


The spokesman said Monday it was too early to say how much melamine the chocolates contained.

He declined to give his name because of company policy.

Cadbury said earlier the tests "cast doubt" on the safety of its Chinese-made products but didn't elaborate.

jeez.. it's like recall after recall lately.

not completely. I eat fish. (can't give it up)
only reason I gave up meat was my stomach hates it...and then hates me when I do eat it. just recently cut out milk due to my wonderful stomach again. not fair sometimes!

I remember spinach & bagged salads sometime around last year. Tomatoes were a huge thing earlier this year & mushrooms came shortly after. If I remember correctly.

hmmm... i remember something about the bagged salads. I buy bunched spinach...probably why I didn't think of that lol. but I don't remember tomatoes and mushrooms. wierd! was that in ontario?

I think the tomato recalls began sometime in late May or early June. It was do to salmonella. Stores stopping carrying them & even restaurants (larger chains included) stopped serving them. It was in all of Canada (I am pretty sure) as well as in the USA.

I don't remember much about the potatos, but surely if you google it you can read about it. I'm surprised you never heard about the tomatos! When it was giong on that's all I had heard about!

Always that one food you can't ignore. I Rember my cuzin was a vegan for awhile but I think shes just a veg now..... That must really suck if you have to give it up cause your stomach won't let you eat it....
