This contest is sponsored by S. C. Johnson and Son, Limited (the “Contest Sponsor”). Contest starts at or about 12:00:01 a.m. ET April 16, 2008 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on September 30, 2008 (“the Contest Closing Date”).
ELIGIBILITY:
This contest is open to all legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in the province or territory in which they reside. Employees (and persons with whom they are domiciled) of the Contest Sponsor , its advertising and promotional agencies and the independent contest judging organization are not eligible to enter this contest.
TO ENTER: there are two (2) ways to enter.
Online entry: visit www.chillandgrill.ca to complete the official contest entry form by entering your name, address and daytime telephone number where you may be reached plus the unique PIN code found on specially marked packages of Ziploc® brand bags and containers in order to receive one entry into the contest. Each PIN code may only be used once. All entries must be received by the Contest Closing Date in order to qualify.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: print your name, address and daytime telephone number where you may be reached on a plain white piece of paper and submit a 50-word,original, handwritten essay on “My favourite things to do in the Summer” to: SCJ Chill ‘n Grill Contest, P.O. Box 4062, Paris, ON N3L 3W9 and you will receive one (1) entry into the contest. Each mail-in entry must be original, handwritten and in a separate envelope bearing sufficient postage and must be received by 11:59:59 pm ET September 30, 2008.
BONUS ENTRY: receive one (1) bonus entry into the Grand Prize draw by signing up for the Your Family Home Journal TM e-newsletter on the contest web site.
REFER A FRIEND BONUS ENTRY : at the time of entry you are eligible for one (1) bonus entry if you refer five (5) unique friends by email address. Referred e-mail addresses will only be used by the Contest Sponsor for the purpose of contacting the friend to provide information about entering this contest and will not be added to any direct marketing list or used in any direct marketing programs without their consent.
Limit of one entry per person/email address allowed per PIN code or per essay, plus two (2) bonus entries (if applicable). In the event it is discovered that you attempted to enter more than once per PIN code or per essay then all of your entries will be void. Odds of winning will depend upon the number of eligible entries received by the Contest Closing Date. The Contest Sponsor will not be responsible for late, delayed, misdirected, lost, or incomplete entries. PRIZES:
There are fifty (50) grand prize packages available to be won, each consisting of one (1) Roadtrip Pro Grill and one (1) Coleman Powerchill Thermoelectric Cooler . Approximate retail value of each grand prize package is $300.00 CDN. Prize packages must be accepted as awarded, are non-refundable, non-transferable and are not convertible to cash. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize package, or any component thereof, with a prize package, or any component thereof, of equal or greater value.
