No not at all. I've entered before and not won? Too much work? Not with proper tools. Well Let me tell u how I've done it in the Past. 1.First of all Get Roboform RoboForm: Password Manager, Form Filler, Password Generator, Fill & Save Forms There is a free and paid version. (it's worth paying for I might add - more later on why) 2. You will need to organize your bookmarks. Make New folders. Daily, weekly, monthly, and Have entered and perhaps (need to enter) 3. Add contests to these folders: daily, weekly, monthly.( left out Enter once) As is Required to how often you enter. At this point - you may also decide to put the contest end date in the bookmark to remind you when the contest ends. ( this is a personal choice) Now for Enter Once Only contests. Choose how you would like to do them. I like to do all one month at a time. Example I enter contests ending in May in middle of April. And For each contest I enter. I bookmark in a folder called "entered" you don't want to be disqualified for entering twice, and this is my way of making sure I don't enter twice. And then for contests ending further away I bookmark in a "to be entered" folder. To increase your odds. 1. Enter as many local contests you can find. Example Radio contests, local store draws, Trade shows, etc. 2. Next do provincial contests when possible to find. 3. Then your next best odds are Canadian Only wide contests 4. American/Canadian Contests 5. International. I personally stop at Canadian. (my time on entering is limited)But many or most people do all they can get their hands on. How many should a person enter? All depends on your time. When I get "contest crazy" it usually takes me an hour a day to do all my "daily's" when I did my weeklys about another 5 minutes. Monthly's 5 minutes. Enter once blasts about an extra hour once a month. I will warn you, When you first start it takes time, so many websites have Registration and this takes time. This is when Robo forms works. The free version will just do your login information, address and phone number. The paid version lets you save pages, this is handy for those daily surveys, or extra spots. It's a time saver. Because it will let you fill the page. Once the sites are in their folders, and your cruising, It can take you about an hour a day. My time is very limited. So I no longer do dailys unless It's something I really really want. And even then I probably only do that once or twice a week. So you need to see your time limits. Don't expect to win a car or a trip Right off the bat. Expect to win a gift basket, dvd, or another small prize such as a t-shirt. Some "serious contesters" win approximately $30,000 each year worth of prizes. I'm currently only winning one small prize every 6 weeks or so. And I'm happy with that. So To learn from this. Just remember to create yourself a system that will work for you, and go from there. So Canadianfreestuff.com forum here has The following folders. Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Enter Once, and Challanging Contests. Inside DAily and Enter once they are seperated in Months. So This should make it very easy for you to enter your "Entered once" because if you used your "thank you" button you'll know which one's you entered. " this would only work if this is the only forum you get your contests from. But for someone just starting on their contest adventure, this could work for you. Now lets explain some of the buttons you will see here. |

| Diva Beaver | I would also add to read the rules... some contest are limited to who can enter, ( those who work for companies and their families are almost always diqualified, or limited to US or no Quebec, etc) and limits for prize pick up. If you live in BC and you have to pick up the prize in Toronto, for example. |

| Baby Beaver | Thanks for all the information...I was just wondering since Roboform is an auto filler, will that not get your entry disqualified? Or do they really know if you've used an auto filler? I'm a techno-peasant so please excuse my ignorance. Denae |

| Smart Beaver Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: BOYLE AB | I bookmark all my contests, rename them putting the expiry date to the right of the contest name, then organize them into groups like SEPT, OCT, DEC, ETC, then I do the same with weeklys, monthlys, I bought roboform pro as you can save way more passcodes- think there is a limit with the free version |
