What makes this contest unique is you do not require the ugliest bathroom to enter. What you need is a bathroom you would like updated and a compelling story as to why you should win.

So, you could be in a brand new house, with a blah builder's beige bathroom and a great story that could garner you a new dream bathroom worth, up to, $30,000 CDN! (Although, having an ugly bathroom doesn't hurt either!)

To enter, submit 1-4 pictures along with a 100-word essay as to why you need a new dream bathroom, or a 1 min narrated video, before November 30th.

CONTEST ENTRY TIP: You don't need a video camera to enter. Most digital cameras have a feature allowing you to record, with sound, a short video. Perfect for this contest!

After December 7th you can vote on the 25 bathrooms selected by the judges.

omgosh. i would love to win a bathroom make-over. mine is so small..i can touch all four wall just standing in the middle of teh room (well, three walls and a shower door)
with two daughters, i can imagine the wars that will occur in our tiny bathroom in their teen years.

The bathroom design will be created in consultation with the Grand Prize winner, however, all decisions related to the Grand Prize renovation including design choices, selection of materials, choice of contract labour and all design, renovation, contract and Grand Prize-related decisions will be at the sole discretion of the “Sponsors”.

what if they choose stuff you don't like??

No designer would ever force you to choose something you really hated, however, they will make design suggestions because with their knowledge base and expereince, they understand what would look good and function best within a specific space. You are limited to choose items from the American Standard family of products. I am sure whoever wins will LOVE their new bathroom!
