Sure, I would like to give this a go! I keep reading about coupon-trains but haven't had the guts to give it a whirl yet! (no idea why I feel like I need to work up the courage to do it! lol!)

If you can give me a run down on the basics, that would be appreciated! My understanding is that there is some sort of boarding pass that goes to you as the train organizer, the envelope of coupons gets mailed out based on a list, you remove coupons you want and replace them with equal value coupons when you get it and then send it back on its merry way as soon as you possibly can! Is that basically it?? Are there any details around what 'equal value' is? or is it simply $ for $, B#G# for B#G#, etc?

A Coupon train is when people sign up to share coupons. I'm not sure how it got the name coupon train but simply its shareing coupons with one another... The person who starts the train sends it out to the first rider that rider scans through the coupons takes ones they want and adds some. some trains have different rules some say you replace what you take this simply means if you take a buy one get one free coupon you have to put in a buy on get on coupon. and so on. then when rider #1 has taken coupons they want and added they send the envelope onto rider #2 and then rider #2 will do the same thing rider #1 did and this continues till the last rider. The last rider sends it back to the conductor of the train.
