Futura Rewards - Complaint My mother and I have been Futura Rewards Collectors for nearly 3 years.
Last Novemebr 11, 2008 my mother asked that her balance of $100 be cashed out and sent to her.
She had had $80 in the account and I transferred $20 to her from my account. Equals $100
**FYI:Futura promotes connceting accounts with family members all over their website.***
She still has not seen that cheque.
I still have close to $150 in my account.
I have called and emailed them 9 times. Each time they have been very polite and "helpful" but they are unable to "cut a cheque" because their "system" for verifying the acutal balances of members accounts has been corrupted. They are having to process these requests by hand and are far behind.
Okay...whatever...
I could have understood this back in December 2008...maybe even up to April 2009 since they run a quarterly processing with the program...BUT... almost NINE MONTHS LATER and they are still experiencing problems and have not caught up with their hand cutting cheques yet???? How the hell did companies do it years ago with only one accountant who also doubled as the secretary and office cleaner? Where is their IT personnel? In Mexico on an extended vacation?
I asked if there was a problem with our accounts...nope...if we had not done something right...nope...you hear these complaints about other programs cancelling accounts and such...our accounts are still active and running but we have not submitted any new UPCs to them since we are not going to waste our time/pay for postage if they aren't going to follow through on their part of the service.
My mother has given up but I am still trying to get our money back. Any ideas? |
