I'm ranting again - Booooo Covergirl (P&G) Customer Service So I call the covergirl 1-800 number to register a complaint after I couldn't submit an e-mail through their website because I didn't have the UPC code from the packaging which I threw out ages ago ...
anyways I called to complain about their "Lash Blast" mascara because it DOESN'T WASH OFF MY EYELASHES!!! I don't know if I got a bad batch of mascara or what but I'm telling you that scrubbing my eyes with soap and hot water 10 times AND using eye makeup remover wouldn't work and the mascara was still clumped on my eyelashes. I've never EVER experienced anything like this before and thinking covergirl was a reputable brand (since they are a P&G brand and P&G is amazing) I had expected them to be very apologetic and want to remedy the situation... The woman I spoke to was obviously from the Southern part of the States since I'm guessing their customer service is outsourced.. and VERY rude and like, fake sounding is all I can call it. She kept cutting me off and putting me on hold. Her soultion was to use the Covergirl eye and lip makeup remover WHICH I USED ALREADY (well not the covergirl brand but a brand just as good if not better). I know that their brand of remover won't work either so I'm not even going to waste my money trying it. She also said they'll send me a "money-off" coupon but that's NOT WHAT I ASKED FOR. I wanted my money refunded OR I was more than happy to mail in the shitty mascara I can't use for a better one that maybe washes off with soap. Is that so unreasonable?
I have spent SO much money on P&G products including covergirl so I'm very upset over this situation. I'm not even caring about how much the coupon is worth that they send me, I'm just mad at the way I was treated...
So yeah, everyone who reads this: DON'T BUY COVERGIRL'S LASH BLAST MASCARA..... it sucks. |
