| Guest | My grocery store (Price Chopper) refuses to take save.ca coupons. The cashiers have been programmed to say that they store can't get their money back. Anyone else run into this problem? What grocery stores will accept them? |

| Leave it to Beaver | You know I wondered about that. There was cashier at my local Price Chopper who tried to refuse my Similac coupons (the ones that look like cheques). She told me that they were not included in that program. That is bull, as long as they send in the coupons that they redeem, they will be reimbursed for it. I haven't tried my save.ca coupons there yet. This should be interesting. |

I would email them give them the link, explain that the coupons are mailed to your house & not printed from the internet & ask the company policy on them. I would wait to hear back from the representative to tell them my story. If the company policy is to accept these coupons, then tell your story.. They are owned by Sobey's & Sobey's has taken my Save.ca coupons.

| Smart Beaver | Actually my friend mentoned a similair sitution @ a No Frill's (here in GTA) that they will not take save.ca coupons and will only be taking coupons that are in the newsaper and the coupons that U get off the grocey store shelves. The cashier told her that 2 many folks are producing save.ca coupons on their home computers & attempting to pass them off as the coupons that you can order on the save.ca web site! It only take a couple "bad apples" to ruin it for everyone else! |

![]() | Metro, which also owns Food Basics, take them no problem. The Metro near my house (downtown Toronto, College Park) has signs up that they do not accept internet coupons, but save.ca are alright since they are mailed to your home.

Next time ask why they won't. When they won't answer ask for a manager. They'll most likely over ride it if they feel like you are ready to make a big fuss. Shopper's on the other hand. oh man did I have a fight with a manager today over some save.ca coupons. | |

| Learning Beaver | The Price Chopper's close to me now has a sign up at the entrance that says they don't take certain coupons (I think it said 'printable', I forget what it had said exactly, I'll check again)

| Smart Beaver | I've never had a problem with using coupons anywhere. (Particularly No Frills, Price Chopper, Metro, Wal-Mart, Zellers, Shoppers, etc..). Save.ca coupons as well as coupons that look like cheques... Just make sure you sign them to make them look more legit. A good tip is to READ THE FINE PRINT. If you qualify and have picked the right product and they still won't accept them, ask for a Manager. Sometimes the Cashier is just a dumb bimbo who can't comprehend what the coupon says... I once handed a cashier a coupon and said "I'd like to redeem this coupon for a free (whatever it was...)" and she didn't know what i was talking about... She didn't know what "redeem" meant... LOL! If I went to a store and they were being unreasonable and didn't accept my coupon's I'd be SOOOOO mad I would boycott the Store and call Head Office. |

| Mod Squad ![]() | I use save. ca coupons at No Frills, Food Basics, Fortinos, Walmart, Zellers, Shopper's Drug Mart. I haven't used them a Price chopper recently but they used to take them.

| Baby Beaver | If you continue to have problems with certain stores, e-mail save.ca and give them the name, address and phone number of the store. They will contact them and deal with the issue. I had trouble with a local Food Basics and that's what I did. Now, so far, there seems to be no problems accepting them. They have no excuse not to accept them. They are MANUFACTURERS coupons! Says so on the front and backs of the coupons. I think if they don't, it's just laziness on the part of the store itself. Who wants to shop somewhere that you can't get deals? That's bad for their business. |

| Little Beaver | they shouldnt have a problem with it just sounds like they are just too lazy and dont want the extra work to go with it as long it says manufacturer coupon on it or ya the cashier is just an idiot i know a few of them around in my area aswell |
