![]() | Since Subway has the $5 footlong subs, I have been going there more than usual. I went there 5 days ago & the customer infront of me was getting a milk. He checked the expiry date & all the white milk was expired, with the expiration dates facing forward. I visited on September 20th - and they had milk that had expired on August 26th! That is disgusting. All the other milks had expired on September 16th. Both the chocolate milk & the white milk had the expiration dates facing forward. The customer had told the guy behind the counter that the white milk was expired. The man behind the counter pretended to act like he didn't know - but he's a bad actor. I went in today & all the white milk had the expiration dates facing the other way - so I pretended that I was going to grab a milk & put it back. They were still the milks with the expiration dates of September 16th. The chocolate milk still had the expiration dates facing forward - so of course, they were trying to hide the fact that the milk was expired. I emailed Subway about the issue. I also told them that with them knowningly providing customers expired products - which is fully in customer view - makes me wonder what is expired behind the counter. They probably will not act on the issue even though I provided all the information for the restaurant. I have read that it is not illegal to knowingly serve product to a customer (which, if it is true is disgusting - no wonder so many people get sick!), but it is illegal to tamper with the expiration dates. :((((

| Bargain Diva Beaver | Subway grosses me out. The not knowing when the meats are rotated// expiring really freaks me out. I got food poisoning once from cold cuts ( at my home NOT Subway). Bleh! I'd suggest you not go to that particular Subway any more!! |

| Smart Beaver | I know, subways is gross. The freshness of their products is definitely questionable, but my main beef with them is their customer service. EVERY SINGLE time I go to a subway (which really isn't THAT often), I get a rude employee serving me... I've tried e-mailing subway with a complaint but they don't take their e-mails seriously, nor do they even seem to care about your complaint... |

I use milk after the best before date all the time.. only the skim goes off close to the date.. homo or cream last a long time after the date.. and buttermilk lasts weeks and weeks past the best before date.. |

| Leaping Lemur | I've never tried their meat subs...and never will (except chicken and turkey) 99% of the time its veggies on honey and oat with southwest and hot sause with parmasan and swiss cheese (Try it its really good) Last time I was at subway there was a fly flying around behind the counter and the guy in front of me threatened not to buy it if the fly lands on it. I didnt see it land but the guy stormed out so who knows. When I was sitting I saw the employee putting the vegetables from that sub back with the other veggies. What got me is they didn't make enough of an effort to get rid of the fly, and they put the ingredients back instead of just eating the sub or giving it away but now somebody else is going to purchase a sub with vegetables that are possibly tainted. I dunno, it makes them look bad. |
