| Diva Beaver | My mommy and I went to WalMart and found some nice deals. Unfortunately, the cashier wasn't sure if she should except our $10 off of 3 Olay products coupon. The supervisor came and said, "You can't use coupons when something is on sale." So we had to void the purchase. (Including another Olay product that we had a $2 coupon for.) They ranted about the pics being different on the coupon, despite the word ANY OLAY PRODUCT. They even complained that one of the bottle was a bit more curved in the picture than ours! We checked our recipt and found that she forgot to void the Olay Quench. We went to customer service, and they were a pain in the butt! We finally got our money back; no Olay. When we tried to leave, the lady at the door said that we beeped when we went through (even though we definately didn't.) She wanted to check all of the items and ran back from our cart to th escanner like an idiot. It took forever! I'm thinking that the supervisor made her do that, because I did she the supervisor go over to before we left. Also, even though this isn't WalMart's vault...the vending machines are always jammed. I had to struggle for a minute until my bubble gum game out!

![]() | Sounds like a horrible shopping experience. Whenever I go to Wal-Mart I go in expecting a poor shopping experience, but mine has never been that poor. I have had troubles once with coupons & that was when I had lots of coupons for Gillette Razors & they had the bonus packs. Although they had the same UPC, I still had to have the cashier call the supervisor. Not taking coupons when an item is on sale is bull. I don't believe complaining to anyone at Wal-Mart will get you anywhere though. Someone correct me if I am wrong. Are you 100% positive the coupon said any Olay product & now any product of a certain line? I have made that mistake unknowingly in the past. If you still have the coupon, you should double check.

| Smart Beaver | I got a cashier fired from wal-mart for a coupon dispute. She wouldn't take it. It had right on it that it was any brand of the product. I didn't feel like getting into a fight so I call the store explained that I was a manager of another store and how I was treated and was told that the cashier would be fired. An employee of mine had family that worked there and told me she was fired so next time get the employees info and call the store. Don't talk there on the phone you get someone over that supervisor. I've done this at wal mart many times over the years. I try not to go there. |

| Little Beaver | I shop in Walmart in our town all the time and I have never had a problem with coupons. I really can't complain about the service either the staff has always been polite and helpful but the problem has been that there never seems to be enough staff to go around. It always seems like one person is working halph the store by themselves. |

| Beaver Virgin | I had a cashier at Wal-Mart tel me I had to give her the coupons up front before she scanned anything. She was mad that I put the coupons on the conveyor belt next to each matching item. She said "I'll do it this time, but next time we need them first". Like she was doing me some favor. I was just trying to be helpful by showing what each coupon was actually for, and trying to avoid having to double check anything. Wal-mart sucks! |

| Learning Beaver | sounds like walmart is desperate for staff and just hiring anyone and everyone these says, have had probs off and on at the one here too, just as others have said i don't expect good service when i go there but sometimes am pleasantly surprised... |

I couldn't believe it..i had to wait for 20 minutes for someone to come..then about another 10 for them to get a dolly to carry the thing out..then had to go around the back of the store and pay at the Garden Center..real cute trying to manouver a 7 foot long box that weighed about 150 pounds thru the freaking plants and tress out there. Then i had to go find two guys to lift it in the back of the truck. | |

| Baby Beaver | You've got to be kidding........ I have NEVER heard of such a thing, using a coupon a sale priced item... I'd be ______ like you wouldn't believe. I'd make a fuss. That's how you save money. ![]() ![]() ![]() Sorry for your shopping experience. ![]() ![]() What I don't like about big box stores are price discrepencies at times. The cash registers are not perfect..they are programmed by humans. Humans make mistakes. ![]() I lucked out at Zellers. There were vitamins on sale from $10.00 down to $7.00 (approx.) and I had a $3.00 coupon so I essentially paid $4.00. |

Just keep walking ....I also think they are there just to stop people from stealing......it is so embarrassing when someone makes you stop. I had a bad experience when i was younger with someone embarrassing me by accusing me of stealing (i did not). So i now do not stop because i have the right not to.

| Leaping Lemur | I went to walmart today like 10 minutes before closing I chose my items first (before i took my checkered tunic that I thought looked better than it really did to get refunded) I went to the customer service with the shirt, as well as the dye that was on sale and I also used a coupon! The clerk looked so frustrated but figured everything out quickly. I got lucky I guess. And a few days ago I returned dvds that my mom had gotten in Ontario, and the agent looked puzzled because the bill was in english, and had asked if it was bought in Quebec and I had said yes because I thought so. And they were defected so they were open and she said I had to choose same titles of course, but she refunded me $ for one because they ran out of that title For the most part they have been really fair (my experience) EXCEPT trying to return an electronic is a royal pain in the hiney! They are very strict With time limit, and you have to have the bill, so you must hope you have some sort of warranty! |

| Learning Beaver | I understand your problem, that is why i'm not a big fan of Wal Mart. they refused coupons from me too so now i go to zellers and never had any problem with them so far even printable coupons is not a hassle they will give you the value of your coupons anytime |
