i bought a dress from winners.. i only wore it twice.. and the first time was just for 2 hours.. the second time i wore it the strap broke off while i was wearing it.. i was out with friends! i am so so so lucky i was wearing a tank top under it.. since it was one of those dresses that have the built in bra (most built in bras i dont trust but this one was super supportive) i wasnt wearing a bra.. if i didnt have that extra layer my boob would of been exposed for the world to see! im so angry!!... i didnt expect this with winners at all.. it was not one of those cheap dresses you get at giant tiger where you kinda expect something like this to happen.. it was more than i usually pay for a dress and this is what happens! :CRYING2:

i plan to bring it back as soon as i can get into the city.. which will be hard anyway because i dont have a vehicle i was in with friends
i have the receipt and i swear they better not give me any grief about no tags being on the dress or i may go ape*&%* on them

That sucks! And I agree I don't normally go with the built-in bra... can't always be trusted.. LOL

Winners I believe only has a 10 or a 14 days for returning it.
I hate spending good money on stuff that falls apart, I do feel your pain.

the built in bra in this one was a good one.. most built in "bras" are just an extra layer.. this one has real cups and support... i think you need to judge by that

it says 10 days.. but i really think they should give me my money back anyway..id only worn it for three hours tops before it broke.. that is not the quality you expect from a place like winners

Wow, that would be horrible. You would think that brand name clothing, like the items sold at Winners, would be better quality but that is not always the case. On three or four separate occasions, I have tried clothing on at Winners and I discovered a ripped seam, a torn strap, a big hole, and once I tried on a top and the whole side ripped out. I wasn't forcing it to fit or anything LOL. It is unfortunate that some things are just not made to last, no matter how much you pay for them.

hmmm Its not necessarily better...local is the same as imported I feel sometimes, except its simply not fair trade from out there

I had a silk Guess dress do that before. I just had my mother sew it back together and had her sew the other side on better too. I loved it way too much to return it but I was pretty mad considering how much I spent on it.

I sure hope you can return that dress and get your money back.
From my experience, Winners has a great return policy and I've never had an issues with them that I can recall of. Regardless, that shouldn't have happened at all and I wish you the best of luck.

I think if it is a faulty product they SHOULD take it back, but Winners can be jerky with their policy. Can you fix it?

Winners does have a great return policy you wont have any problems

I wonder if someone else broke the strap while they were wearing it, sewed it back on and than returned it??? Clothes should last longer than three hours. Never shop at Winner. I only ever found one dress that I liked there.

I always shop at winners for clothes and never had a problem or taken any clothes back.So sorry to hear of your mishap

i did return it and they gave me a gift card for what i spent on it.(though i doubt i will get another dress :p) the dress didn't look like it had been sewn and returned. i am glad they let me return it though it was after the 10 days
