Cute little story of what happened today.

So My friend Paul came into town today. Paul is about 63 years old. Old enough to be my dad. He comes to town monthly, and knew him back in the day I was in business for myself. So approx 5 years. We've always kept in touch.

So for the last year, When he comes into town - We if I am available we will go out for supper, as I know it sucks to eat alone. So this helps kill a few hours for him.

So he calls me today, I make a reservation to a new swanky restaurant in town.

So being a good mother that I am, I call the house when I knew my daughter would be home from school, to let her know I am not coming home, and they would have to eat Cup a soup or something nukable for supper tonight.

So here is the conversation.

Me: I won't be home for supper.

Her: Why

Me : laughing I have a HOT DATE

Her: Are you cheating on my dad?

Me: No! He knows

Her: Who is this guy?

Me: An old Guy that comes to down, we've known each other for years.

Her: MOM!!!! OLD IS NOT HOT!!!
Your going on an old date Not a HOT DATE!!!

I just about peed my self laughing
