what contests do you enter?

I am wondering what type of contests everyone enters?
I really only enter in the ones I think I might like, and usually only the single/once only ones but I do have about 4 daily ones I am entering right now.

and if you do enter alot even the ones you don't care to win....what do you do with the winnings if you don't like the prize?

So let me know what you enter in.....I am asking more for curiosity than anything else.

But "Any I can get my hands on! " comes in a close second choice...I have found that all contest prizes are very useful,,,from cash to the little prizes..I have won lots of stuff that has come in very handy for myself or other family members or Friends...

I wish I had the time (and patience) to enter the daily contests. I only enter the single entry contests and instant wins when I remember.

I enter them all LOL mostly win on the dailys, or instant wins, but i enter the singles then forget about them, if it is a contest site with a page of contests then i just enter the ones i would want, but alot of what i win goes to other people, sometimes for gifts , sometimes you win the secondary prize which is something you cant use,like the whistler instant win , was trying fo rthe trip , won cross country skiing,LOL so i will send it to relatives in squamish, there is always someone it works for, and occasionally if there is no one it works for i sell it , but xmas this year alot of my gifts were wins so helped alot with money. but the dailys is your best bet to win , at least i think soo , but it is like a second job getting them done, you have to really like it, oh and dont enter too many of the blog contests, i JUST DONT UNDERSTAND THEM aghhhh

I enter singles one day a week.
I enter dailies everyday. Usually miss 2-3 days a month though. I have approx 215 right now.
I enter daily radio codes on a daily basis for 6 sites before national dailies.
I enter receipt feedback contests.
I enter locals.
I enter monthly.
I enter weekly.
I enter instants everyday, before any other dailies.
I enter facebook ones. Just started too.
I enter text on the rare occasion.
I enter snail only contests (although there aren't many of these anymore).
I enter walkins (although like snails, there aren't many of these anymore).
I enter blog/comment contests.
I enter many contests that do not have expiry dates.

I enter so many contests, I am not sure why I do not win often anymore. I probably enter anywhere from 400-500 contests a week.

i find it comes in 2 week waves contests close middle or end of month , 2 weeks to a month for prize drawing, so usually you get the emails beginning , middle and end of month , the bits in between pretty quiet unless you get a instant win , i need help learning the blog thing , they often want a google id or url or something and i dont get it , and if you put anonymous how do they know it is you if you win, and if they dont ask for an email how do they know it is you ??? confused .i should try the radio ones, havent done that yet, i think too that during the winter months is harder as more people stuck at home , and just whe you think WHAT IS UP then you get an email

I don't work due to a disability, so I have nothing else to do until I can work or go to school! Then let's see how many I enter! lol.

If you put anonymous you have to leave an email in your response. Best way to do it is to put it like this: roswel[at]hotmail[dot]com or something similar to avoid google email crawlers. Goggle email crawlers will collect your email for spam.

Sign up for a Blogger account. Make sure your profile is not on private & your email is visible in your profile, that will be how the blogger will contact you. Not very hard, but looks a bit intimidating before you start learning.

aghhh trying but confusing so why do i have to have a blog page??? okay so i did a comment on the week in review contest , so if i were to win would it show up on my blogger page ??? and how do i know if i set it up right so people can see my stuff, and does it matter if i have no stuff on my page, i am soooo confused :(((( and am i suppossed to somehow put thie link to these contests on my page??? ahh so i added it to my bogger page and got like the whole web site damn near but if i go privat then can they still know i entered, this is a bad as learning to copy and paste , I DONT GET IT

If you are entering a comment one (which is usually the initial entry), they will comment you. You have to have your email address as public in the blogger account. You can see my blogger profile: http://www.blogger.com/profile/15632635224161216813. You don't need to have anything else on your page besides your email address. Bloggers know to contact you through your profile. If you do not have your email visible, then there is no way to contact you, so you will not win. You have to pay attention, some blogs ask you to answer a specific question, if you do not answer that question it means that you are disqualified (you'll see idiots comment with "I WANT IT" when a blogger asks you visit the contest sponser & comment with your favorite item - these posts are disqualified). Other blogs just want you to say "i want to win". Many of the blogs choose winners via an online randomizer.

The other entries such as twitter & stumble I have no freakin idea about. There are contests with entries to post the button on your blog, which is a picture with their blog on it with a link (sort of like my winzy button in my siggy) on your sidebar. So you would need an active blog to do this entry. There are contests that will give you an extra entry by blogging about their contest, so you would have to post about the contest in your blog. Again, you'd need an active blog.

I just find having a blogger account is easier to comment. You don't have to keep writing your information over & over & over again.

If a blog says you get 15 entries by twittering or something stupid like that, I don't enter. I usually only enter (1) time by commenting & (1) time by subscribing my email to their newsletter.

Hopefully I was able to explain myself clearly. I usually have a problem with that. If you have any other questions I will do my best to help you out.

I've only been entering since early July. I haven't won anything HUGE yet, but I have won an HP Pavilion Laptop, $1000 trip to a skiing resort & a $800 carpet from Shaw.
