food disappearing marshmallow brownies

These are so good, they will mysteriously "disappear" when you make them
INGREDIENTS:

* 1 cup butterscotch chips
* 1/2 cup butter
* 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
* 1 cup brown sugar
* 2 teaspoons baking powder
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 2 eggs
* 2 cups miniature marshmallows
* 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Variation: you can add more chocolate chips or substitute peanut butter chips for the butterscotch chips

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
2. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butterscotch chips and butter, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature. Stir in the flour, brown sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla and eggs until well blended. Mix in the mini marshmallows and chocolate chips. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes in the preheated oven. Center will shake but it will firm upon cooling. Wonderful with ice cream. Enjoy!!!

Thank you for this recipe... it sounds absolutely delicious.

I was thinking of trying it with peanut butter chips. I am wondering how it would be with a cup of Skor pieces? I am so hungry... LOL

mmmm sounds good!

i have a "disappearing" story for you!

we were at the lake one summer and someone had made a tray of those pre made cookies and all you had to do was put them on a pan and pop them in the oven. After all of the adults were gone to work in the garden or sit outside alll of us kids went inside the house. We ate all of the cookies and the adults came inside to an empty tray of cookies and a note that said "thanks for the cookies, love santa" meanwhile it was july lol!
