| Moderator ![]() | here's an interesting recipe, sugar cookies made with jello I haven't tried them yet but my friend Susan did cause she needed something to do with her kids for march break and said they were good. DROP JELLO SUGAR COOKIES Cream together: 1/2 c. shortening 1 egg 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (3 oz.) box Jello (any flavor) Add: 2 tbsp. milk 2 1/2 c. flour 3/4 tsp. salt Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with the bottom of glass which has been dipped in sugar. Bake 400 degrees about 12 minutes. Yields 5 1/2 dozen. The jello adds color would be perfect to make cookies for the holidays dependant on the color jello used, you could cut holiday shapes too
