Just used the printed coupons from whiskas at wal-mart.

The lady at the till first said she wouldn't take them but I argued a bit and she called someone else who said that they can take them.

I am having more and more trouble redeeming printed coupons. Maybe we should all start emailing companies to tell them about the troubles!! They may change their coupon distributing procedures, after all most of us are doing surveys etc in return for coupons. If we are unable to use the coupons, why should we continue to fill out surveys etc? Maybe this needs to be brought to the attention of these companies...Just a thought.

For myself... I shop at Superstore, Sobeys, Zellers, Shoppers, Walmart, and Canadian Tire and they have all accepted my coupons in any printed form. Sometimes, of course, they question them but in the end... they take them with curiousity!!! I live in a smaller community in Nova Scotia (Annapolis Valley) and a couple of time the cashiers are like: 'WHERE DO I GET COUPONS LIKE THIS?!!!' It's awesome.

We are leaders in the 'world of saving money!' giggle.

Walmart is pretty good about taking coupons.. You must have to have a pretty good bar code maker to get them to look the way they do on coupons if you ask me..

butterlfy If it's Free, It's for Me!

The only store that gives me a bad time about using coupons is Superstore, the ones who take all valid competitors coupons - NOT!!

Printed coupons are NOT accepted here at all! Every time I find a site that offers printed coupons, I email them and tell them that most stores will NOT accept printed coupons anymore, in hopes that they will go back to mailing coupons instead.

Don't use printed internet coupons as live in a small town and the stores just won't accept them. The local A&P wouldn't even accept the ones from their own Fresh Obbessed Website, so had to e-mail the website and told them about this and the lady in charge had a meeting with the Manager and now they will accept the Fresh Obsessed printable coupons, but not any other internet coupons. Agree with Sweetthng & Moonwater's post that the maybe the companies need to start mailing out Good Old Fashioned Coupons again or add them to a website like Save.ca Have a nice evening! Everyone!

My biggest problem is that many of the coupons from CAnadian companies are from Texas and state USA only. I wish there was some way of knowing this before using up so much time and ink on something that is of no use to me.....ok...that's my 2 cents worth...or a bit more. Have a great night! Thanks for letting me grumble!
