I have personally never had any real problems with my coupons. they always seem to get accepted though they are often scrutinized.
Today I was almost refused use of my save.ca coupons at a regular grocery store. The manager was called to verify that they were legit. I guess they don't take coupons that are printed form home at that store so the teller had to go double check if she could take them.

Has anyone has any that have not been accepted before? any weird stories or other problems?

i had one of those coupons for a free bag of cat food and they did the same thing but the lady was such a cow about like i had ruined her whole day cause i busted out a coupon it was not good customer service at all

I had a coupon from Save.ca that was printed in French and they almost didn't take it. The cashier couldn't read it and wanted me to tell her what it said. She still didn't believe me. I had to show the same coupon in English for her to except mine. She finally took it.

I had the manager called the other day with the free paper paper towels.They did take it eventuly.I think the casher will be one of our new members.

I can't find a place around here that will accept printer coupons. They will accept the Save.ca ones, but not even the big chains will accept the printer your own ones.

I give save.ca my address and they mail me coupons. Maybe I am confused but it sounds like you print yours at home which could look pretty fake.

I've only used them once, at a Dominion but the cashier was an awesome lady and didn't mind that we had like... 6-7 coupons.

Once several years ago there was a fake, printable, coupon going around for a free meal at Mcdonalds. My husband (whom I was not married to yet...) thought that the coupon was kinda fishy so we never used it. I regret not doing it now because about a month after I saw the coupon there was a big poster at the McD near my house that said "we are no longer accepting these coupons because they are fake" and had a pic of the coupons on the poster. Man I could have gotten free food!!!!

So just saying that they COULD be fake, though you know..... they most likley aren't

Last week, I tried to use General mills coupons that I printed off of their website at everydaycelebrations.ca. I was at Price Chopper and they said I couldn't use them because there is alot of fraudulent coupons. I did point out that they came from the General Mills website and they still said no. It kind of made me feel like a criminal.

I have been to a lot of places that now have signs stating that they do not take computer printed coupons anymore because of fraud ;the IGA I used to go to stopped accepting any coupons unless it was doublesided, so I stopped shopping there. I don't need to be standing there embarassed while 2 seventeen year olds (1 a shift supervisor) scrutinize my coupon then tell me that they look 'suspicious'??? I got mad and told them to find the store manager who apologized then took them, but I told them that if they cannot learn a little tact than making me feel like I am attempting fraud to use a 'fake' 50 cent coupon, that I am obviously shopping in the wrong store.

i had one printed out for kashi and went to use it and they said no because they only mail coupons within canada and it was mail to somewhere in texas....

i had a problem with save.ca free dog food at the superstore. The manager comes over to say they don't except these. i say bullshit. he says he's sorry but can't so i say you your willing to put back 300 worth of gorceries over a coupon in a loud voice and suddenly he was making an exception

Have had some problems with printed out coupons. My grocery store won't take anything that says it has to be mailed to Texas. Surprisingly many coupons do have a Texas address on them. They are getting use to me and my coupons book. "oh no it's the coupon queen" LOL
