I Love Coupons!

It is amazing how much I save each week by using coupons. It has become a new challenge for me to see how much I can actually save. My strategy is simple~ Every Thursday I go through all the grocery store ads. I right down who has the best prices and the most on sale that I want/need. Then I make a list and sit down and go through all my coupons. I attach them to my list and pull any other ones that might be good to use before they expire. By hitting the sales and using coupons at the same time, you can really save alot of money. I am going to be tracking my saving so everyone can see how easy it is to save $$$$.

Total Grocery Bill for 35 items was $112.20 - $17.31=$94.89

Some may wonder where do I get all my coupons? Well I always go to save.ca and take advantage of any that are posted here. I also grab tons when I see them in the grocery store. I just don't take one. I take 4 or 5 or 6. Then wait for the item to go on sale and go wild. I also go to other grocery stores to get other coupons. Not all stores have the same coupons. Even look in the department stores like walmart and Zellers, especiallly in the cosmetic and toilettries isles. One of the best resources for high value coupons is Shopper's Voice Surveys. They come in the mail or you can do them on-line. It takes a long time for the coupons to come but they are worth it. Usually $1.00 off or more values. You can also look through your household products and e-mail the companies and ask them for coupons to try their products. The worst that can happen is they say no. I am a Bzz Agent too, so I always get high value coupons with each campaign. I give some out and save some for myself.

Today I got Dove Go Fresh coupons for $2.50 off and $1.00 off from Zellers. I grabbed 4 of them and now will wait for the sale.

Don't forget to get rain checks when the store runs out of things on sale and zellars will match local prices in march i saved 124 dollars using coupons rainchecks and flyers (don't forget to take the flyers from other stores zellers will give you the price of the item

Very good point. I often get rain checks since my local grocery store if often out of advertised products. They are usually good for 2-3 weeks too.
