Canadian Music Needs Your Help

Hey everybody I'm new here and I am on a mission. My friends band has just started to break waves in the Canadian music scene and through them I have witnessed the appalling state of the Canadian music scene. No funding, No audience, Limited venues and general apathy towards Canadian musicians. I want to change all of this and I'd like to help my buddy's band and the Music scene I'm going to start this thread with a link to my buddy's band and I would hope that every poster would reply with a link to another local Canadian band or at the least a positive comment. Just checked out the link, thanks for posting. (Love the band's name, BTW). Not the style of music I typically listen to, but many do, and I agree with you re: the state of the Canadian music industry, at least from a lowly fan/consumer's perspective. Even as a music fan, it is frustrating when singers/bands are not fully supported by their labels...until they are deemed commercial enough to warrant the investment. I also find it interesting that many people, instead of being honest and open about what resonates with them, remain neutral with their opinions...until the artist has broken through or - even "better" - hit it big in the USA! *Then* it seems okay to say, "Oh, yes, I have always been a fan!" *L* Strange, huh.

I hope your friends' band gets lots of exposure on YouTube. It's good of you to be so supportive!
