I did this last week and got a really friendly guy too! I was surprised that we could call back once a month and request a couple more coupons, you generally never get deals like that! Very impressive, I wish the guy I spoke to could pass his good customer service vibes on to everyone else in the world then I'd be more abt to call people about things! I read on another thread posted on here that someone used the full value coupon and got one of those gift baskets valued at 19.99, so I'm definately going to be using my coupon on one of those!

Got my coupons last week (1 FPC and 2 $1 off) never got a Health Record Book though.
The lady on the phone gave me a reference number, and I can call every month to get another FPC coupon and more $1 off.
They said it should arrive in 7-10 business days, but i got mine on Thursday (called on monday)

Thats what they told me! Also, I emailed them today telling them I would like my fpc for this month (may) and the lady said it would be mailed out today! Can't wait! More gift baskets for Dominic!

Also, do you know if they will they still send you things if you're pregnant? I'm only 6 weeks, but this is our first, and hubby and I are on a tight budget, so I'm trying to find some savings anywhere I can. I'm hoping I could start getting monthly free product coupons now, so I can start a supply before baby gets here.

Just posting to share my positive experience using the coupons I received from the New Parent Package this morning! I was disappointed, however, to just read on another forum that they are no longer doing this program. Kind of surprised, too. It seems like a great way to get people started on J&J products, which (one would think) would only benefit the company in the long run.

Anyway, I went to Shopper's Drug Mart (small town in northern BC) and presented my "free product" coupon with one of the gift baskets. The cashier had obviously not seen a coupon like it before and said that she wasn't sure what it meant (whatever it says on it - it doesn't exactly say "free product" but it means essentially that). She was quite hesitant and I didn't think she was going to honor it. I just explained about the New Parent Package through J&J and a bit about how it worked. She eventually rang it through and I had to pay taxes, which I was fine with ($2.52 on a $20.99 gift basket is okay with me).

Then I walked to Zellers to use the $1.00 off coupon on a bottle of baby wash. That cashier had never seen a coupon like that, either, but didn't blink an eye and rang it through. She asked where I got it and was very excited to hear about the New Parent Package program, as a friend of hers just had a baby. She will no doubt look into it. Again, it's unfortunate J&J has decided to end it.

I emailed J&J yesterday to ask whether they will continue to send coupons to folks who have signed up for the New Parents Package. Here is the reply I received:

It sounds like people are receiving different information from different sources within J&J's customer service department. Someone posted yesterday elsewhere that they had spoken to someone in customer service and they said the program was still going, but that they had run out of coupons. They asked her to contact them again in September. I really hope they do resume this program and distributing coupons - I have found them very helpful!
