Just go to this address and sign up for your free subscription. (you will be in the US site, but it is available to a number of countries)

You will need 2 different e-mail addresses (1 for the child and one for the parent) as they will send an e-mail to the parent to confirm that it is ok to send. I just signed up for this so I can't confirm if it does come, but I assume that Lego won't dissapoint!
