ok i have been serching online for some help the only thing i don't exactly know is SOHCAHTOA like what it stands for and how it helps

oh and whats the o or zero with the line throuh it? and if the angle is not shown how do you find the oppisite side? Like the hypotenuse is across from the right angle and the oppisite is supossed to be across from the angle but f the angle is not shown how do you find it

lol I remember that.

sin = opp/hyp
cos = adj/hyp
tan = opp/adj

You know that right?

Well, SOHCAHTOA just says that. i'll break it down

SOH stand for Sin-Opposite-Hypotenuse meaning.....sin = opp/hyp

CAH stands for Cos-Adjacent-Hypotenuse meaning......cos = adj/hyp

TOA stands for Tan-Opposite-Hypotenuse meaning.....tan = opp/adj

They supposedly say it helps to remember it cause ppl apparently have a hard time with it. I never used it though.

wait, if you have a right angle, then the other two angles are 45 degrees.

did you figure this out yet? if you're talking about a right angle, then you already know what the angle is and can figure out the side
