not a fan of walmart myself, not the employees or anything just the huge big box store thing, and their prices arent any better anymore than anywhere else, and they dont train theri employees, which isnt fair to them or us , so not i dont go unless i have too , in this town we dont have alot of choices, but i almost never shop in stores anyways, except groceries

I posted that my daughter worked at a walmart in Alberta and is waiting for expansion at our walmart closer to us,,,and she was trained,,for 5 days she sat in a classroom setting and learned all sorts of stuff from how to use the til to how to deal with customers.
I am not sure but maybe across Canada each province has different rules maybe..cause the walmart she worked at in Alberta she said was great,,her only problem there was her supervisor and her making of the schedule,,,Maria had to point out to her many times..that she had my daughter or others scheduled for days in a row with no days off..
and the walmart in vernon is very people friendly and they help out many charities in our area.

Anyhow,,,enough about that,,,I am up,,,It is FRIDAY and I gotta run and get ready for work soon,,,

I worked at Wal-Mart as a teenager and remember the 5 day training. They do have people in departments where they do not know the products. They have very little coverage for breaks and so on. I find it even worse now to find someone to help you with any inquiries.

um... so... i went to the Ontario Works office today, I wish prophet were here so she could read this:

I am getting $506 for my job bonus, not $253 even though I will be working PT.

oh yeah, i took the street car today. i haven't taken it during rush hour in forever.

i get on, it's packed, okay, no prob.

people didn't move to the back, like they are supposed to, which i always do when i can. this dirty man, who looks like an alcoholic came on & literally pushed & shoved people out of his way since they didn't move to the pack, no excuse mes or sorrys - no manners whatsoever. He pushed me, hard enough to cause to me lose my balance & i screamed at him. i screamed "don't push me you alcoholic dirt bag" - had a very long day. I love the tension on public transit when someone screams or yells in an angry manner. I do it once in awhile. I always get tense when other people do it though.

Then. This person gets up to get off, okay, I've been standing on the street car since I got on & I've been on my feet since 6:30AM & it's now 4PM. My arm is in the front of the seat since I was holding on to the poll in front of it & I go to sit down this woman - who is quite heavy, pushes her way to the sit and she too almost knocks me down. I don't even know how she made it there so fast, since the street car was so packed. lol. but I was near the front so..

& THEN. I'm sitting in that seat looking out this window & this woman, heavier than the previous, puts her cane on my foot and puts all of her weight onto it. My baby toe was bleeding when I took my socks off at home.

I know crackercrumb, some people have no consideration and I don't know if it was the weather or because it's friday but people were crazy, I saw one guy drive the wrong way down a one way street and a kid get hit on a bike because he was going the wrong way on the sidewalk. Crazy people

OMG I totally forgot that theres a car show in Qualicum that I wanted to go to tomorrow. I cant go though...have to drop my son off with his idiot. Oops I mean his dad.

I'm now on medication for being extremely stressed out.

The only thing I am stressed about? One of my cats. The only thing in my life I am stressed about. I can't think straight. I feel like I am going to explode hourly. I feel like slitting my neck in the kitchen or at least slicing my arms open with a razor blade. I've been stressed out about it for awhile, but I guess last night "the shit hit the fan" basically.

Last night I exploded. She destroyed my vintage, extremely hard to come by (especially in then mint condition) chair. The whole thing is ruined. The whole thing.

I put a hoodie on to go to work yesterday, get on transit notice it reeks of car urine.

On Thursday she knocked down a bunch of boxes & smashed the face of a vintage doll I have. Face is destroyed. In the garbage it goes.

This morning I saw she had vomited all over one of my $50 hats & all over the carpet in the bedroom - brand new, white carpet in a condo we are renting. Stained the hat. In the garbage it goes.

Deep claw marks on the window sill in the condo.

Came in today from my docs & she is sitting on top of our 42" flatscreen HDTV. One wrong miss judged jump & the TV will come crashing down. A $1500 TV. I can tell it's going to be the next thing to go.

My carpet - the one from Shaw that I had won. Ruined.

She constantly claws at the floor. It's ruined. Brand new condo, brand new floor - ruined.

Got claw marks in my back & on my legs from wrestling with my boyfriend. She hates loud noises, which concerns me, especially because when I have seizures I scream & yell. She used to scare me when I had seizures because I had know clue what she was. I don't even know what I would do when I have one & she comes at me. Not only will I not know what she is, but this animal would be attacking me when I am basically out of my mind so I don't know what will happen or what I will do to her. I feel it's not safe for either of us. Vet just told us she has sensitive ears.

I'm happy & joyed to have her.

Wow, crackercrumb.. a cat should not cause that much stress!! Is it your bf's cat? I seriously reccomend giving it up for adoption if you can. I have FOUR cats, and they havent even come close to doing that much damage to anything I have owned. I love cats, and definitely do not think they are "disposable", but you have to draw the line somewhere. Your health and sanity is much more important than some cat.

YUP anything that causes that much stress has to go, maybe you can find a home for her , hard to do but we had to do that once with a pet that was not safe for the kids , it is making you sick and that is not worth it

nope ,of all the stores we DONT have here we DO have and orange julius, only the poor girl working there was on her own all day and apprently her boss hadnt bother to tell her that it was free julius day, when i got there at 930 am it was already lined up, gave her a nice tip though

wow it feels liek this month is neverending , just got back from the LAST kids concert, listened for 2 hrs to kids playing acdc and stairway to heaven etc on their electric guitars and the drums aghhh it is pretty funny when they are still all learning but after 2 hours it is all a blur , i cant hear anymore ,they are fun but i am ready for a break , tired tired
