just came back from fireworks and they were pretty cool for a dinky little northern town the fireworks may not have gone ahead due to the rainy weather in my city but here in my bf's town they were good Happy Canada Day everyone!

was a busy night at working at the beer and wine store and will probably be just as busy today,,

The most I saw happen yesterday fo Canada was a few people running down the street screaming happy canada dressed/painted like crazy people and soaked from the rain

I went with my bf to his work yesterday (he was supposed to have the day off) we started at 6am and finished at 5pm, long day the most interesting thing that happened was we picked up a hitchiker. the guy was young and very french so conversation was minimal he was going to Thunder Bay then out to Vancouver and it was rainy and yucky.

there was tons of stuff going on here for canada day... but I wasnt feeling so great (still not) so we didnt get to do anything. There was a huge fireworks show with almost $30,000 worth of fireworks. Cant believe I missed it. I heard them..they went on for about 25 minutes

The most I saw was the CN Tower bring white & red as well as someone lit a firework off & it went off in front of my window - which is on the 49th floor.

A lot of fireworks were canceled due to the city strike. I remember watching TV & quite a few veterans called in and were quite pissed off since they went and fought in wars so they could be free and they are selfishly denying their kin and everyone else in the city's freedom to have fireworks displays and parties run by the city.

I know It sucks... I mean yes Canada day is not @ about firworks but I mean everyone seemed to treat it as an ordinary day...

where the crap is the GST CHEQUES the website says issue date the 3rd well it is the 3rd, today ,pisses me off they, are never when they say and some people are really counting on that money , sooo mad , anyone else get theirs ????

Roswell, my mom said that the GSTs are in the banks today, not sure how you get yours and I haven't checked mine yet so I'm not sure what a icky day, it's cold (+11), rainy and overcast, I was going to go home today but it's too cold to take my rats out so we're going tomorrow when it's supposed to be about +20 and sunny, hope everyone is having an ok day

Well another day just about done,,,we here in the sunny okanagan,,hit a high of 32C today and it is supposed to be hotter tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will be at work all day,,,off to see if any new contest have been posted yet today,,,

Darn near,,,is 35 C here right now,,I just got home from work a bit ago,,,lots of people complaining about the heat,,but I love it,,went outside as often as I could all day at work,,cause I hate the air-conditioning at work,,but boss said I have to have it on for the comfort of the customers..
Anyhow,,just gonna relax and take it easy this evening

i would die in here without the air conditoning , spent most of the day inside LOL not a fan of the heat we are about 30 not quiet as bad as you yet they say it is going to get hotter though

Well supposed to be just as hot today as it was yesterday,,I am soo tired and sore today,,gotta rest up lots cause I have to work 4 days this week,,
Ashlee and Jax are coming again this week,,hoping they will be here Tuesday...for a week,,
Hubbys 50th birthday is coming up,,we are hoping to celebrate when Ash is here,,gotta get on the phone and invite a few people over, to help celebrate...

Well is a bit cooler this morning,,is +21, but looks like we might get some rain today,,which will be good,,,
Gonna be working lots this week,,work Mon and Tues 4-11pm , Wed Off,,then Thurs and Fri, 9-4pm...
Ashlee and Jax will be here for another week long visit tomorrow,,cant wait,,
