well it has happened,,,such dry weather here plus so much wind,,,and we have forest fires,,,about 4 of them in our area which all broke out this afternoon,,,
Kelowna is being hit really hard again,,,many home lost and last I heard,,thousands have been evacutated...scary,,cause as the crow flies,..Lumby is not far from Kelowna..
3 fires are in the kelowna area and one is in the Armstrong area

just talked to him.. he is OK and the fire is apparently going away from his place. He said hes going to try and get more pictures later on today

Been there done that! please listen to me when I say it is not worth it no matter how much you luv someone because I used to get so nervous I would feel sick and it did take a toll on my health when I was in my early 30s,so I owned the house but I sold it to him,Packed up and moved out.Best thing I ever did he missed me so much he quit drinking and it has been 16 yrs since he has had a drink,but my health has never been the same,and if you are young go out have a good time and find someone that has enough respect for you and him or her self and want to be with you on the weekend and do things together that both of you will remember and have fun. For every 15 pk they show you some hard liquor is hidden or drank some where.Sorry to Ann Landers you but I really do know what it is like BIG TIME(a 26 and a 24 pk) was usual!

Just to let you all know, I didn't die or anything, Just super frigging crazy. My job is going to officially make me an alcoholic one day. Anyhow, I know I had said I was quitting, but I've let them sucker me be back for a while. Long story. But none the less my employee left me, and Now am training a new one. So basically I am working by myself, and trying to train.

I've been camping on the weekends, which is making house work pile up during the week.

Its not been been very good for trying to spend any time on here.

I have not abonded you all, just thought I'd make sure I'd stop in and let you all know what is going on in my world.

I do not do well with stress, and I have to say this month has been extremely stressfull, because of work.

I could write it all out on what when on, but just put it this way. I offically Hate the job I once so loved. And I don't use the word Hate very often as I feel it is such a strong word. So much B.S has went on, and I feel like I am a guinea pig in one of the wheels, and can not get off.

Good to see you again Happy keep at it, I'm sure things will change one way or another, remember to breathe and take some time for yourself.
Those fires in B.C are really scary, I hope the firefighters have control :(
Cheetah, old age happened to my boys and they left me on their own it's been a week and I just wrote their eulogy on the rat forum I belong to to, have to keep busy and the pain will slowly go away.

Yes have been busy here too,,,had a couple days off ,,spent them cleaning house,,back to work tomorrow and Friday,,,and weekend off

Been busy around here,,,and it is still sooo HOT,,,was 35 C today or 95 F,,,,and is supposed to stay this way for at least another week,,,forest fires have tamed down a bit,,but gosh we could still be in for more fires,,,,everything soo soo dry,,,

My Guess ,,,is that everyone is out enjoying the summer,,,with lots of other things to do,,I have seen this happen on other boards during the summer months,,everything slows right down

Well I am back from my 2 day vaction trip. Nice to be home, safe and sound but a little too sunburnt. LOL. Went to Pelee Island early Thursday morning and just got back. The wine tour was very nice, but the SNAKES were not!! Took the early Ferry (12noon) back today and took almost 4 1/2 hours to drive home. A very long day. Only 2 days left of my holiday-Boy did it go fast.

It's nice to here from people who actually are getting some sun this summer. here in Ontario we have only had one day so far above 30 and it has basically rained every day. It's so wet here that the water is running through my basement so fast that fish could spon down there.

I hear yah bluebird-VERY wet here in Ontario. Yesterday and today were the first few days that actually felt like summer. I think all those members in B.C. stole our usually hot summer for themselves this year LOL. Suppose to have a couple more days in the 30's this week so try to enjoy it-but don't get a sunburn like I did today. I was only out for about an hour and a half (while sitting on the ferry) and really got alot of sun. I guess my skin was as shocked as I was that the sun was finally out.

I have 10 days of Vacation here!!!. I finally quit my stressfull job. Aren't you happy? Anyhow I quit on Friday of last week. And I got the boot out the door yesterday. Some companies do not want you stick it out for two weeks.

Anyhow I have a new job starting on September 1st. It should be interesting!!!!! I will be working from home and traveling a lot. So I think it will be better No stress, and probably will be able to be on here more.
