Gardeners?

Are there many gardeners here? I am starting to garden. I just got some coffee grounds from my local starbucks to put in my flower beds. I wonder how often I need to fertilize? I am really clueless about gardening.

i put up a gardening post a while ago im in the same boat as you we just moved into this place a couple months ago and it has a huuuge yard and has been overgrown for over a year so im starting everything, just got the front garden cleaned out and yay found out someone put tulips and daffys in before so now that it is cleaned out they are growing. i just bought a lilac tree as well hope it does well. But id like to know when and how often to fertilize also i didnt know to put coffee grounds in the garden what does it do? Im new with the flower stuff but have had a ton of vegi gardens so im putting in a big one in the back .
