Test post. Hello! Been (slowly, during spare time while at work!) browsing the site over the last couple days and figure I'd create an account and post saying hi.

Not much to say about me, I'm 27, live in Edmonton, and I've been following three or four discount-alert, community-tracking sites for online games for some time now, kind of like this one only more specific in theme and less specific in the regional scope, but for some reason it never really occurred to me to expand that into day to day items..

Until now anyway! This site/forum seems chock full of nice people so I'll lurk around a bit and hopefully try to fit in.

I'm in Eastern Ontario and love free stuff. I often share what I find with my friends on Facebook. Nice to find this site, and nice to see it has a forum. I've been on forums since well before the days of Windows, as I was a very active member of the old BBS forums way back in the days of DOS systems.

My name is Miss Nikki. I am 24 years old, and live in a small apartment with my boyfriend, our many pet fish and 2 pet rats. I am a preschool teacher now but I want to eventually have a family and stay home writing books and become published. I want to win tons of money and never work again!!! LoL

My first big win was $100 in a hospial pull-tab ticket game when I was like 10 yrs old. LoL

Since I started sweepstaking about 1 month ago I have not won anything yet but if I do win any big items I will sell them and save the money!!!

Hey Nikki! It takes about 3 months to start winning, so I've been told, so do not give up to easily. I don't enter to many contests these days, but a few years ago, I did it for a month and won 3 times.

At the time I focused on Enter once only Canada contests. ( This was before blog contests were popular) I won a palm pilot, $100 HVM gift certificate, and I won 5 dvds. I only had 1 declaration form, the rest just showed up at my door, I didn't even get an email that I won.

A lot of the contesters I know win small a lot. Shweet seems popular to win on.

Are you into "blog contests" or anything in particular?

Nice to meet you. I'm also new to couponing, I really didn't think you could do it with living in a small town, but cheetah assured me all I needed walmart and shoppers drug mart , So I'm about 2 months into it. I love it so far. I have a binder and everything.

Hello to all the new members -so happy to meet you all. WELCOME! You are right Happy Cappy you don't need a bunch of fancy stores to score some awesome deals with coupons -just the time to hunt out the coupons and the will to remember to use them. LOL Co-worker used her 1st coupon today and picked up a jug if Clorox Bleach at Walmart for just .49¢ -she was so excited. Yesterday another co-worker discovered the joys of the SCOP (Scanning Code of Practice) and got her wrist brace for $10.00 off because it ran in at the wrong price (I think they are both hooked now) LOL. Hope to get to know all the new members in the days an months to come- Enjoy and see you around the site. :o)
