I think I want to start a blog!

So I am on the internet all the time lately and I was thinking I should start a blog! I love reading blogs, but I am not sure where to start. I have a lot of questions and of course I would like to start off on the right foot.

What is the best site to use in your opinion?
Do you use any extra software like macjournal (I have a mac)?
Where are other bloggers getting the cool title pages with cartoon depictions of themselves?

What else should I know before starting?

Are there any legal things I should know?

My blog will probably be about my favourite thing? I always tell my friends about favourite products I love and things I learned like geocaching, Blog hopping etc. I want a place I can refer them too and I thought a blog! And if me and my friends are interested in learning new stuff I am sure others will too. We all want the best of the best!

I am actually interested in knowing the answers to your questions as well.

I am always trying out new products and giving my family and friends real reviews so a blog would be a great idea. I was thinking of starting one myself, especially since now summer is here and I have nothing better to do with my time. Might as well make use of my internet time and do something productive that will benefit others as well.
