New Arcade Tournaments

Ok so we're going to try this again and see if we can get them completed this time. I do sincerely apologize for the disorganization of the last attempts that didn't finish before the upgrades took place.

So without further delay I'd say it's time for everyone to have a friendly challenge in the arcade. I am starting two tournaments now, one will be Space Invaders and the other will be Snake. There will only be 8 slots for these new tournaments so sign up quickly before they're all gone.

Of course there are rules to go with these, the number one rule is you must have a minimum of 10 posts to be qualified to enter them. If you do not have 10 non spam posts at the time of entering you will be removed. Staff members may not enter. You will have 2 attempts per round to get a good score. We need these to finish in a timely manner, therefore if after a week a player has not completed their two games to finish the round that player will be disqualified so it can continue on.

Prizes, yes of course there must be prizes. The first place winner of each tournament will win a small prize, I'm thinking of possibly a $10 Tim Card, after all that hard work playing games the winner might want to have a nice coffee or maybe a smoothie from Tim Hortons. I am however willing to try my best to work with the winners if a Tim Card is not suitable for them to come up with an alternate gift card. Second place person will get to choose from our new prizes, we have some new rings for men and women and some keychains.

So if you like a challenge and wanna come play against fellow members then please join the tournaments for your chance to win.

HAHA! I didn't read all the rules the first time and did not realize I needed a minimum of 10 posts before registering, so no snake tourney for me... however I have 10 now, and Space Invaders here I come!

Hello again everyone, sorry I haven't been around much in the last while, been busy here. I'm going to try to keep on top of this a little better now .

Just a couple more for snake, come on there must be two more people on the forum who want a chance for some free coffee or something else.

Great to see the Space Invaders tournament is going, reminders have been sent to those who haven't played. They will have till Wednesday afternoon to play or they will be disqualified and the tournament will continue.
