Rate of which electronics are becoming obselete.....

I bought the top of the line Digital Camera in 2002 or 2003 I can't remember which year now. I paid like $800.00 it was 5.0 megapixel etc.

So I wanted a new memory stick for it, I don't think they make these anymore. I found one but it took some digging.

The camera still works very well, takes still good pictures, but boy am I dissappointed that technology is increasing so fast.

Now if I went in to spend $800 for a digital camera,

It would be a 10 megapixel and be very huge with mega lens etc.

Gosh maybe I am getting old. lol....

I hate that soooo much....what really gets me is the fact that I have so many VHS movies and now they hardly sell them and when I go to the movie store to rent a kid movie for the kids I can only get VHS in the ancient movies errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I bought my DREAM camera 2 years ago... and my neighbor just bought the same one for half the price!!!!

awww you paid lots for that. I paid around $100 and I have a 7 mega pixel camera and it just takes the regular memory cards that you can get for semi cheap. Cameras are always going up in mega pixels now-a-days. As long as yours still works though, that's all that matters
