I've watched the After Dark Horrorfest movies the last two years. Not great movies but not bad. I watch anything horror but I would have to go with The Exorcist as the scariest I've seen.

I just watched [rec] on Monday and it is probably the scariest movie I've seen. It's spanish, so I had to watch it with subs, but still oh man. I'm not scared by horror movies, but I've seriously had to sleep with a nightlight on since I've seen it. :(

I love horror movies but my main beef with some of the newer ones are they show way to much gore for my taste and leave nothing to the imagination which is often way scarier

my favs are
freddy's series, ghouilies, critters, friday the 13th, children of the corn series, interview with a vampire, Jaws, blood and chocolate (was awesome), there is some of the newer ones i like but they are more ghost and vampire and werewolves ones hitcher was a hugs dissapointment i agree with that totally... I love the scsary movies from the 80's they jsut dotn make tehm like they used to most now they try to make them funny and it ruins it for me.. and if they arent funny they are just gore ... I eman im not sqeamish its just not what i like in a horror flick it sthe suspence and the unknown that freaks me out i like films that make me jump!!
