So I did this phone poll a month or so ago for the Calgary Health Region. It was about air quality etc etc

I got a phone call last night saying I had won in the draw. I got to choose between a knife set (I got one thanks

) or a 2 night stay in a hotel in either Calgary, Kelowna (sp) and Jasper. I chose Jasper.

Now SHE wants to come to my house to "deliver" the voucher.

Who thinks she is going to sell me something???

Maybe she doesn't know what FedEx is, but hey, why not let her stop over. What the worse thing that could happen? A 10 minute chat could be worth the 2 night stay in Jasper

They will try to sell you something. This happened with me EXACTLY, but in my area. If you can tolerate sitting there and listening to a sales pitch and then are able to turn them down, then go for it. I ended up calling them back and cancelling.

Good luck with this one, just sounds like a big marketing ploy. I hate that. It should be illegal to do this. But like the others said if you can stand up to their sales pitch maybe you can get a nice little holiday out of it. Make sure and let us know how you make out.

she'll have a vaccumm with her and to further qualify you have to listen to 20 minutes of why your house is killing you with the air quality

I have to agree with lynn.. She will have a vacuum with her.. They tried this with me until I found out what it was about and I told them I was on to them..LOL

If it truly IS a prize tell her that you will be unavailable for the next month and to have it couriered if she hems and haws over it then it is fraud if they are only providing it upon a sales pitch without telling you in advance.

I had a vacum sales man clean my living room carpet. I asked him if he would like to do upstairs too. But I did get a set of steak knives...and a clean carpet. lol PS my house hasnt killed me yet either. Have fun.

I cancelled on her once. Re-sched for the next day. We didnt get to the phone on time when they called to confirm. So they did a no show on us!!! Still no prize! I think they are full of BS. Apparently my neighbor won as well!! LOL!!

Oh well!! Be warned!!

You should still try and get your prize. Maybe tell them, since you both can't agree on a time to meet, they should mail you the certificate, or drop it off in your mailbox, since they want to come to your house.
